So I'd like to hold NCH to their word:) But I'm not sure how. I found 2 videos on youtube for cracking Express Rip that were quite clearly scams. I wondered if there's any legit way of cracking this and other NCH softwares that is known in the piracy community. I doubt a keygen would work too great without editing my hosts file, which I can totally do if I need to.

If I recall, asking questions is pretty much the epitome of 'a willingness to learn'. And, in case you weren't aware, as most audiophiles tend to be, a well-encoded 320kbps MP3 file is going to sound indistinguishable from a FLAC if you're listening to it on some earbuds from your music player. The difference will only be audible on the higher end of audio equipment.
